Data we collect

When you complete the contact form, we collect the data you voluntarily provide:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Organisation name (optional)
  • Reason for contact and message content

We do not collect browsing data for advertising purposes, nor do we share any data with third parties without your explicit consent.

Purpose and legal basis

The data collected is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, to manage the professional relationship. The legal basis for processing is the explicit consent you provide when submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

If you subscribe to the newsletter, the legal basis is likewise consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Data retention

Data is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and, at most, for 3 years from the last contact, unless applicable law requires a different retention period.

Rights of data subjects

Under the GDPR and the LOPDGDD, you may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability. To do so, contact us via the contact form stating the right you wish to exercise. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) if you consider that the processing does not comply with applicable law.

Cookies

SEGUR.CAT does not use any own tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. The site is a static portal with no authentication system or measurement scripts.

Regarding external components, the contact form uses Web3Forms to send messages — this service processes form submissions server-side and does not set any cookies in your browser. The map embedded on the contact page uses OpenStreetMap, an open-source project with no advertising or tracking purposes.

As a result, no cookies requiring your consent are installed and no cookie banner is displayed. If you nevertheless wish to manage or delete cookies in your browser, you can do so via your browser settings (Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security; Firefox: Settings → Privacy and security; Safari: Preferences → Privacy).

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, in accordance with Article 32 of the GDPR.

Changes

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy to adapt it to legislative or service changes. The update date will always be indicated at the top of the document.
